I retired four years ago from my corporate career to attend to my health and family. I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a breast cancer survivor. Leaving behind the stress of the corporate world was my first step to getting well. I then discovered complementary medicine which led me down the path to better health and nutrition, alongside beautiful natural surroundings that presented conditions vital for my physical and spiritual healing.
Over the last few years, I have had the opportunity to forge relationships with others "close to home" on Whidbey Island. My lifestyle network has grown into a myriad of friends, neighbors, colleagues, and acquaintances, all sharing and caring for each other in community and with respect to the world's greater good.
As a 25-year resident of the Island, I wanted to share my knowledge and experiences of living Whidbey Island in a community online magazine. Most important are the people that I have met and worked and played with over the years. The Island is abundant with riches: a vast populace of writers, artists, holistic natural practitioners, and other mind/body/soul specialists living and working on this beautiful Pacific Northwest Island.
It is with intention that I've created this site as a forum for sharing these riches with you whom, for whatever reason, have chosen to make this your home. If you are seeking the type of information and services presented here, I welcome you to explore the blogs and participate in the community through offerings of your own stories and unique way of Living Whidbey Island.
